Brian Carlton was raised in a small farming community in central Illinois. He graduated from Cissna Park High School in 1986. After graduation, Brian entered the Army to become a helicopter crew member. During his 5 years of active duty, Brian served at Ft. Knox, Kentucky; Ft. Rucker, Alabama; Ft. Hood, Texas; Illesheim Germany Army Airfield; Kuwait; Saudi Arabia and Iraq during Desert Storm. Upon discharge from the Army, Brian stayed on in Germany for 2 more years as a civilian contractor restoring the Apache Helicopters.
Brian met his wife, Michaela in Germany and they have been married for 16 years. They have one son, Chris, who is 13. The newest addition to the family is their puppy, Lilly, a Chocolate Lab. As a family they are active in sports and enjoy traveling to anywhere that seems interesting, near or far. Fishing at Lake of the Woods or using the trails to bike is where you will find this family in their spare time.
Education and staying current on the latest trends in Real Estate is a top priority for Brian. While on active duty, he studied Business and Real Estate and upon returning to the United States passed the sales person license exam. Brian most recently took an educational seminar which focused on helping people that may have mortgage trouble and need to sell their homes to avoid foreclosure. This will earn Brian a National Association of Realtors Designation in this area. Helping people is why Brian got involved in Real Estate in the first place.
Brian and Michaela are active in real estate investing. To provide affordable and nice housing to people is a matter of pride for them.
