Wendy Evans
Wendy has lived in the Champaign area since beginning her college career in 1990. She received both a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Illinois. In addition to Wendy's academic successes, she earned an athletic scholarship and played collegiate golf for the University of Illinois.
After completing her Masters degree, she worked in several capacities in the Illinois MBA program including admissions, conference coordination, and student recruitment. Currently, she works in the Housing Information Office, which oversees 8,700 residence hall residents. Wendy has been working for the University of Illinois for nearly 10 years.
Wendy grew up as a daughter of an Air Force Officer. While being part of a military family she has lived in Hawaii, California, and Texas before arriving in the Champaign area. She enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog, Madison.
Wendy's mother is a Champaign native, while her father is from Libertyville. Wendy's brother Brad Evans, Champaign Centennial graduate, is a local school teacher and currently a columnist for Yahoo Fantasy Sports as well as a fantasy sports radio/web cast personality.
In March 2007, Wendy completed the requirements for the salesperson license and joined the Champaign County Association of Realtors. She is eager and excited about the prospects of a successful real estate and investment career.
